THE INCREMENTAL PATHWAY / CEO

ADVANCED ยท sample brief and output

Illustrative. Adapted to your requirements.
Our 80/20 approach uses a shared structure, then tailors the priority, data, tools, controls and success measures. The balance varies with your needs; it is not a fixed scope or a promise of results.

Decision context

A team releases recurring preparation time, but the capacity is fragmented. The allocation plan identifies usable blocks, removes competing commitments and assigns them to a named customer pilot. The CEO sees milestones and decision dates, not just a headline of hours saved.

Build and check

  1. Use permitted sources and record their date and owner.
  2. Ask approved AI tools to propose the model or asset and explain its assumptions.
  3. Review calculations, reasoning and evidence links against the original source.
  4. Test an ordinary case, an exception and a missing-input case.
  5. Record the reviewer, version and boundaries before use.

Conditions

Capacity is not fully fungible: skill, timing and location matter. A portfolio score informs judgement; it does not make the investment decision.

Your first pilot and scale decision

Illustrative scope: One strategic priority crossing two functions

Core team: Executive sponsor + two function owners + Finance

Capacity goes into: Faster execution of the priority that matters

Scale gate: Milestones improve, capacity is actually reassigned and Finance removes duplicated benefits across functions.

Connected ownership: The executive team chooses trade-offs; each handoff has one accountable owner.

Agree scope, fees, participant effort, approved data and success thresholds before starting. Adapt by business unit and region; examples are not verified client results.
