Capacity to go
on the offence.
Invest in stronger propositions.
Test consequential customer problems earlier and direct product investment towards propositions customers use and value.
Learn before committing
Improve product adoption
START FOCUSED. EARN THE RIGHT TO SCALE.
One proposition and its next investment decision
Start with one team and one workflow. Adapt by region, business unit and system before expanding.
Who joins · what earns the next step
Core team: Product lead + research or design + commercial partner. The sponsor agrees the outcome and reviews the decision.
Scale only when: Customer evidence changes a scale, adapt or stop decision; adoption and economics are followed beyond the initial trial.
Connected ownership: Marketing tests demand; Technology checks feasibility; Customer brings usage evidence; Finance tests the economics.
ONE CONNECTED JOURNEY
Build it. Prove it.
Put it to work.
ADVANCED creates the asset.
ACCELERATE tests the same asset.

Which customer problem should we test before committing the next delivery increment?
Permitted customer research, usage evidence, support themes, strategy and delivery constraints.

MAKE THE THINKING VISIBLE
What must we learn before committing delivery capacity?
Customers repeatedly abandon a setup step, but requests point to several different features. The brief separates observed behaviour from proposed solutions, compares two explanations and defines an experiment that could change the roadmap decision.
Review and acceptanceProduct owner checks customer evidence; technical and commercial owners accept the experiment boundaries.
Illustrative sample. Tailor the scope and thresholds before use.| Question | Illustrative evidence | Next test |

| Observed behaviour | Setup abandonment | Check segment and context |
| Hypothesis A | Process feels too complex | Test a simpler path |

TEST AGAINST THE BASELINE
Does the new way improve the work?
Run representative work with the agreed reviewer. Count effort, rework, exceptions and upkeep; ask whether the recipient gets a better result.

THE EXECUTIVE TEST
What changes
because of it?
Assign released capacity to named customer interviews, usability tests and proposition experiments that inform an actual investment decision.
Will this accelerate learning or generate more confident assumptions?
Link every claim to customer evidence and record what remains unknown. Judge the work by the decision the experiment changes, not the volume of AI-generated ideas.
Protect customer privacy and avoid inventing research findings. AI synthesis must remain traceable to evidence; product judgement and release authority stay with people.
THE 80/20 APPROACH
A strong starting point.
Shaped around your business.
Keep the useful structure. Adapt the priority, workflow, data, tools and success measures to your requirements.
Your commitment, our role and the investment
TIP brings: the tailored brief, facilitated build, reusable working structure and trial review. Your team brings: approved inputs, workflow expertise, an accountable owner and time to test in real work. Your organisation retains decision and release authority.
Agree the first stage before committing to the full journey. The proposal sets out fees, participant effort, trial scope and success measures. Include licences, review, upkeep and any integration in the total investment.
TEAM: 3h. ADVANCED: 4h. ACCELERATE: 2 × 4h with a workplace trial. FUNCTION: 8h + synthesis + 4h. The full journey is 27 facilitated hours, plus preparation, trial and follow-through; attendance varies by stage.
Start with approved AI tools and manual exports, with human review and named ownership. IT confirms access and data policy; sensitive or regulated workflows may need additional security, legal or governance review. Integrations, custom applications and unattended operation are separately scoped.
Inputs: preparation effort, eligible work, review cost and experiment investment. Outputs: discovery capacity and experiment economics. Revenue and retention effects remain scenarios until measured with appropriate attribution.
